Ваславский Ян Ильич

Родился 3 марта 1983 года в городе Набережные Челны (тогда – Брежнев) Татарской АССР.

В 2004 году с отличием окончил Московский государственный лингвистический университет по специальности «Международные отношения». В 2001 г. стал победителем конкурса научных работ «XXI век: место и роль России в международном сообществе», проводившегося РАМИ.

В 2007 году защитил диссертацию на соискание ученой степени кандидата политических наук, факультет политологии МГИМО (У) МИД РФ. Тема работы: «Конституционное оформление и развитие современных институтов и практик демократического правления (сравнительный анализ)».

С августа 2007 года (в качестве аспиранта – с 2005 года) по ноябрь 2009 года работал в должностях преподавателя и старшего преподавателя Кафедры сравнительной политологии МГИМО(У). Участвовал в преподавании основных учебных курсов кафедры (в том числе курса «Сравнительная политология»), также разработал авторские курсы для студентов факультета политологии, в частности, «Эмпирическое исследование голосований в ГА ООН» и «Конституции стран мира».

С 2005 года участвует в проекте «Политический атлас современности» в качестве соавтора и координатора.

С ноября 2009 года является доцентом Кафедры политической теории. Участвует в преподавании основных учебных курсов кафедры (в том числе курсов «Теория политики», «ИТОМВ», «Основы политологии»). Для магистрантов факультетов политологии и международной журналистики разработал новые учебные курсы - «Нефть в мировой политике и экономике» и «Технологии электронного правительства» (последний - совместно с д.э.н., заведующим Кафедрой глобальных информационных ресурсов и процессов А.В. Коротковым). Для иностранных студентов магистратуры МГИМО разработал курсы «Политический процесс в современной России» и «Электронное правительство и управление».

Является членом Правления Российской ассоциации политической науки, действительным членом Международной ассоциации политической науки и исполкома Исследовательского комитета №37 при Ассоциации (Комитет №37 исследует проблемы политического развития). От МГИМО(У) и Кафедры политической теории курирует совместный проект с Лондонской школой экономики и политической науки по изучению влияния наполеоновских войн на историю Европы.

Основные научные интересы: конституционализм, электронное правительство, ресурсный фактор в мировой политике, федерализм, партии и партийные системы, методика сравнительного и многомерного статистического анализа. На указанные темы по состоянию на 2010 год опубликовал монографий и научных публикаций общим объемом более 38 п.л.

Имеет опыт управления рекламными и PR-подразделениями в коммерческих организациях (в т.ч. планирования и бюджетирования, организации выставочных экспозиций и конференций, ведения переговоров и т.п.).

Владеет английским, французским и итальянским языками.
